Two stones in a shell,

Two stones in a shell,
A third on the horizon,
What little be they,
To the lucid underbelly of the many,
These words are subtle,
For they only reach the few,
The few with ears to hear,
The few with opportune glances.

The Heavy study of my worth.

The heavy study of my worth,
before my bones are covered in earth,
Such grace I have been given,
To understand the living,
Such immortal eyes have I
To rejoice before I die,
Such imagery I see,
Oblivious to all of thee.

So close now and yet so far.
.
So close now and yet so far,
My sweetheart mused upon a star,
The fragile roof above us now,
Does seem to tremble with the sound,
Of horses bound and bearing down,
Eclipsing joy of memory found,
The ragged and the rabid hound,
The hapless and the fearful town,
I wandered through the echoes there,
The hollow streets without a care,
And saw a light within the dark,
That beckoned me to pause and hark,
I could hear the sound of joy,
The sound of happiness be there,
I could only rest a while,
For yonder there lay many a mile,
For to gather all my sins,
And burn them down to cleanse my life,
Leave ashes upon hallowed ground,
A fond farewell,
To earn my wife.

untitled original by Joseph Blake

A poem

Sleepless night abandoned love,
Ghost of solitude in rest,
Forward to the sky above,
Over hills and yonder west,
Found beneath a old dead tree,
The writings from Gallilee ,
Parchment held in my cold hands,
Stories from the distant sands,
As I look up I see a bird,
Across the waves his voice is heard,
There is path you cannot know,
Despite how you now feel so old,
There is hope within the heart,
So close to bone within the dark,
There is love on whispered winds
There lies freedom
Angels sing,
Again my pain is used for words
Again my plight seem so absurd,
But I will not rest until,
I find a way,
The soil to till.

The Myriad and the scarecrow.

The Myriad and the Scarecrow.
A book of poetry by Joseph Blake.

coming soon.....free :)

Hey everyone, hows it going? I hope you are all well.
I am trying to build a following, my songs my art my poetry are all expressions of my desire to exist in a world free from hatred, free from war, a peaceful world were people everywhere everyday come closer to attaining perfection of wonderment for existence in its core element, love. Love of life love of self, love of time and space and Eden.
Lessons can be learned everyday from life, life can be freedom of thought, freedom of expression, freedom of the heart to gaze into the unknown with beautiful clarity, life amazes me, constantly.

Grace

to enter the grass without making a sound,
to enter the water without making a ripple.
